Workshops take place in the 3 key technique; Acting, Singing and Movement and Production, with every age group spending a total of 3 hours per weekly session (1 hour per technique).
Acting will encourage confidence in a variety of techniques and skills including improvisation, script work, character development and sight reading. Vocal clarity and diction is also developed.
Singing will develop general singing technique including breathing, resonance & tonality and performance. Pupils will learn and gain confidence in singing in groups and sustaining harmonies.
Movement and Production
Movement and Production will promote co-ordination, performance, flexibility, spacial awareness, stamina, precision and confidence with a variety of styles, with a key focus on musical theatre.
